Where Did It Go?!?

Have you ever done something like this?

 A few weeks ago I misplaced a flash drive.  If you aren’t familiar with them, a flash drive is extra storage for your computer that is portable.  They are about the size of a package of gum and quite handy.  And quite hard to locate if you loose!  I spent hours, over the course of two or three days, looking for that thing.  I retraced my steps from where I last knew I had to, well, all over the house.  I hunted and hunted, looking on places I knew it couldn’t be, but just might be, several times.  I was obsessed with finding it.

 About a week later I found it.  And guess what?  It was in a spot that I had looked at least three times.  But I had missed it every time prior to this one occasion.

 Can you imagine what we would find if we were to put that kind of energy into seeking God?  How about searching the Scriptures?  What rewards and truths are we missing out on by not putting our energy into these things?  The thing you need might be right there in front of, like my flash drive was, just being barely overlooked.

 
Deuteronomy 4:29 

 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

 Father God,

 Let me always have a hunger and a deep yearning to seek You out and to know Your will for my life.
